Obstetrics and Gynecology Questions

Below we have answered some common questions about our obstetrics and gynecology services.  If you do not see your question, feel free to contact our office.


General Questions

Q: How do I obtain my lab results and pap smear results?
A: MyMercy allows Mercy patients to view lab results, request an appointment, pay a bill and much more.  If you do not have a MyMercy account, the office will contact you as soon as your results are available.

Q: How can I reach the physician on-call after hours and on weekends?
A: If you have an emergency that requires immediate help, please call 911 and go to the nearest emergency room.  For all non-urgent issues such as prescription refills or basic questions, please contact the office via MyMercy or call the office during regularly scheduled hours at (636) 240-0130.   For urgent issues after hours, please call the office at (636) 240-0130 and your call will be routed to the nurse on-call.

Q: How do I prepare for my appointment?
A: For your convenience, our website provides access to our new patient packets, which can be filled out prior to your appointment to save time. If previous records need to be reviewed by your physician, please request these records from your previous provider 1-2 weeks prior to your visit. Please call the office if running late or having questions or concerns. We will do our best to accommodate.


Pregnancy Questions

Q: Where will my baby be delivered?
A: We deliver at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, where you will have access to the area’s premier birthing unit, neonatal intensive care unit and anesthesia services. Mercy Hospital St. Louis delivers more than 8000 babies per year, the most in the state, while delivering personalized and individualized care to each patient. Q: Where will my surgery take place?
A: We operate at multiple convenient locations.  For more information regarding your surgery location, please visit Manchester Surgery Center, Mercy Outpatient Surgery Center – Clayton-Clarkson and Mercy Hospital – St. Louis.
